Project Standard 2024 is Microsoft's individual-use project management application for planning, scheduling, and tracking projects on Windows. Microsoft describes it as suitable for use on Windows or Windows Server 2019, licensed for one PC, with pre-built templates and automated scheduling to help reduce inefficiencies.
Unlike the Professional edition, Standard is a single-user application deployed without dependencies on Project Server or Project Online, making it suitable for managing the schedule, cost, and resources of an individual project. It does not include the advanced collaboration, SharePoint integration, or enterprise resource management tools found in Professional or Professional Plus editions.digi-keys+2
