What is the RPG Maker VX Ace Heist Music Pack?

The RPG Maker VX Ace Heist Music Pack is a DLC music collection for RPG Maker VX Ace, the game creation tool for building classic-style RPGs without programming. Released on Steam on October 12, 2017, and published by KOMODO, it was composed by Murray Atkinson of VGM Library.

The pack focuses on crime and caper themes inspired by heist movies. Its style ranges from modern cyber-crime tracks and synth-driven chill music to acid jazz in the spirit of classic casino-robbery films, 1970s cop-show funk and R&B, and dramatic orchestral pieces for break-ins and vault raids.

According to the official Steam listing, the pack contains 11 music themes and 33 slot machine sound effects, which are useful for casino scenes or mini-games. Files are provided in WAV, OGG, and MP3 formats, so they are easy to import into RPG Maker projects.

The music is royalty free for use in both commercial and non-commercial RPG Maker projects, subject to the RPG Maker resource license terms. That makes it a practical way to give a heist-themed game or chapter a distinct sound without commissioning original music.
