Worms Rumble is a real-time multiplayer action game developed and published by Team17. It launched on December 1, 2020 for PC, PlayStation 5, and PlayStation 4, then arrived on Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One on June 23, 2021.

Unlike the classic turn-based Worms games, every round in Worms Rumble happens in real time. Up to 32 players fight across 2D arenas, running, jumping, and grabbing weapons while the action never pauses.

Modes include Deathmatch, Last Worm Standing, and Last Squad Standing, a team battle royale variant. The Lab adds experimental modes and mechanics that rotate over time, alongside daily challenges and seasonal events.

The arsenal mixes series favorites such as the Bazooka, Holy Hand Grenade, and Sheep Launcher with newer weapons like the Hammerhead, Plasma Blaster, and Rocket Shield. Playing earns XP and in-game currency for cosmetic outfits, accessories, weapon skins, and emotes, so you can mix and match a personal look for your worm.

Worms Rumble is an online-only game that supports cross-platform play. Matches are short, so it is easy to play a few rounds at a time. It suits players who want quick, chaotic matches with friends and fans of the series curious about a faster spin on Worms.
