Developed and published by Team17, Worms W.M.D (Weapons of Mass Destruction) is a turn-based strategy game that pits teams of anthropomorphic worms against each other in completely destructible environments. Taking heavy inspiration from the classic Worms Armageddon, it revamps the engine to bring back the beloved "feel" of the Ninja Rope and tactical movement. For the first time in the series, worms can pilot tanks, helicopters, and mechs, or take cover inside buildings to hide from enemy fire. Whether playing the 30-mission single-player campaign or diving into chaotic 6-player multiplayer, Worms W.M.D is the most comprehensive and destructive Worms entry to date.
Classic 2D Graphics: A stunning, hand-drawn 2D art style that brings the chaotic battlefield to life like never before.
Vehicles of Destruction: Dominate the map with tanks, rain fire from above in helicopters, or crush foes using the powerful Mech suit.
Buildings & Fortifications: Enter and hide inside buildings to gain a tactical advantage, providing cover and surprise attack opportunities.
Weapon Crafting: Collect ingredients from crates or dismantle old items to craft powerful variants of classic weapons during your turn (or even your opponent's!).
Massive Arsenal: Over 80 weapons and utilities, including returning favorites like the Holy Hand Grenade and the Concrete Donkey, alongside new additions like the Dodgy Phone Battery.
Hilarious Multiplayer: Engage in ranked or casual play with up to 6 players and 8 worms each on a single map, supporting both local and online modes.
