Silent Hill: Townfall is a standalone psychological horror game developed by Screen Burn Interactive and published by Konami with Annapurna Interactive. It was released on September 24, 2026 for PC and PlayStation 5.

You play as Simon Ordell, who is called back to the island town of St. Amelia, Scotland, in 1996 to put things right. The town lies under heavy fog, seemingly empty but not at rest, and Simon slowly uncovers his link to the place and the people who lived there.

The game is played entirely in first person. You explore, sneak past threats from cover, lure enemies away with distractions, or fight with melee weapons and a small set of firearms. Encounters are built so you can choose between evasion and confrontation.

A key tool is the CRTV, a pocket television that replaces the series' classic radio. Tuning it into unstable analog signals warns you of nearby threats and reveals story fragments that tie into narrative-driven puzzles. Some of these let you relive past events and glimpse everyday life in the town before it emptied.

Townfall is a full-length, self-contained story, so newcomers do not need to know earlier Silent Hill games. Fear builds from small details and quiet moments rather than constant action. It suits players who enjoy slow-burn horror, strong atmosphere, and stories about loss, guilt, and consequence.
