Command & Conquer: The Ultimate Collection is a PC compilation published by Electronic Arts that gathers 17 games and expansions from the Command & Conquer real-time strategy series. It first released on EA's Origin store in 2012 and came to Steam on March 7, 2024, alongside an updated EA app version.
The collection covers the Tiberium, Red Alert, and Generals timelines. It includes Command & Conquer Gold with The Covert Operations, Red Alert with Counterstrike and The Aftermath, Tiberian Sun with Firestorm, Red Alert 2 with Yuri's Revenge, Generals with Zero Hour, Command & Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars with Kane's Wrath, Red Alert 3 with Uprising, and Command & Conquer 4: Tiberian Twilight. The shooter spin-off Renegade is also included.
Most games follow the classic C&C loop: harvest resources, build a base, research new units, and send armies to destroy the enemy. Each faction plays differently, from the GDI and Nod conflict over Tiberium to the Allies, Soviets, and Empire of the Rising Sun in Red Alert 3.
Every main game has story campaigns told through full-motion video cutscenes, a series trademark. Skirmish battles against AI are available in most titles, and several games include map editors. Online features vary by game, so check each title's current support before buying for multiplayer.
The Ultimate Collection suits RTS fans who want the full classic C&C history in one place, and players who want to go beyond the remastered first two games.
PC activation: Keys activate on Steam or the EA app. An EA account is needed for both versions.
Remastered games: This collection has the original releases. The 2020 Remastered Collection, which rebuilds the first C&C and Red Alert in 4K, is a separate product.
Not included: Command & Conquer: Sole Survivor is not part of the collection.
