Yooka-Replaylee is a 3D platforming collectathon developed by Playtonic Games and published by Playtonic Friends. It is a reworked version of the 2017 original and launched on October 9, 2025 for PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch 2.

You control Yooka the chameleon and Laylee the bat as they explore themed worlds, collect hidden items, and help rescue the world's biggest treasure. Exploration, platforming challenges, and secrets sit at the heart of the gameplay loop.

The remake adds new moves, more story content, fresh challenges, and more than double the collectibles of the original game. Controls and level flow have been refined, and Playtonic strongly recommends a controller on PC.

The game is a single-player adventure with no online multiplayer. It keeps the colorful, cartoon-style tone of classic 1990s platformers that inspired it.

Levels are large, open playgrounds rather than linear stages, so you can tackle challenges in almost any order. Familiar characters from the original return, and the classic toolkit of rolling, gliding, and tongue-based abilities is expanded with fresh options. Newcomers get the most complete version of the adventure, while returning players have new content to find.

Yooka-Replaylee suits fans of 3D platformers, completionists who enjoy hunting collectibles, and anyone who skipped the original. Players who want the 2D follow-up can also look at Yooka-Laylee and the Impossible Lair.
