Worms Clan Wars is a classic turn-based tactical artillery game developed and published by the franchise veterans at Team17. Built exclusively for PC architectures, this entry steps away from generic multiplayer lobbies to introduce a robust, highly competitive clan-focused social ecosystem. Players can band together with friends or online allies to form named global factions, custom design distinct team battle standards, and advance up unified multiplayer league leaderboards.
The traditional, chaotic gameplay loop of taking turns firing over-the-top weaponry across fully destructible 2D environments returns with massively updated visuals and systems. Landscapes are up to 30% larger than previous iterations, featuring dynamic day-to-night lighting transitions and realistic, flowing fluid physics. Beyond multiplayer warfare, the title features a fully voiced single-player story campaign set across historic museum themes like Feudal Japan, Prehistory, and the Industrial Revolution, mixed with puzzle-oriented "Worm-Ops" time-attack challenge grids.
