War for the Overworld is a strategy and dungeon management game developed by Brightrock Games. Inspired by the legendary Dungeon Keeper series, the game puts you in the role of a powerful Underlord whose goal is to build an unstoppable underground empire while defending it against waves of invading heroes.
Design intricate dungeons by digging tunnels, constructing specialized rooms, researching new technologies, and summoning a wide variety of creatures to serve your cause. Every decision matters as you manage resources, expand your territory, and strengthen your defenses against rival Underlords and heroic invaders.
The game blends real-time strategy with base-building mechanics, allowing players to command armies, cast destructive magical rituals, and deploy devastating traps. Each minion possesses unique strengths and abilities, encouraging strategic planning and efficient dungeon management.
In addition to a story-driven campaign, War for the Overworld offers skirmish battles, multiplayer modes, a powerful level editor, and Steam Workshop support, providing countless hours of replayability for strategy enthusiasts.
