TOEM: A Photo Adventure is a photography adventure game developed and published by Swedish indie studio Something We Made. It launched on September 17, 2021, for PC, Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 5, followed by Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S on July 18, 2023.

You set off on an expedition to witness the mysterious TOEM, traveling through a hand-drawn, black-and-white world. Your main tool is a camera, used to explore, solve puzzles and help the people you meet along the way.

Each area is full of quirky characters with small problems, and most are solved by snapping the right photo. Completing requests earns stamps that let you move on to the next region, so the gentle loop is explore, observe and help.

There is no combat or time pressure. A chill soundtrack, small secrets and creatures to photograph make it a relaxed single-player experience you can play at your own pace.

On Steam it supports 12 languages, Steam Cloud saves and DualShock or DualSense controllers. Accessibility options include subtitles, camera comfort settings, a keyboard-only option and play without timed input. Critics often compared it to A Short Hike.

TOEM won Best Debut at the 18th British Academy Games Awards. It suits players who enjoy cozy adventures, light puzzles and short, calm games built around exploration.
