The Witness is an exploration of epiphanies. You inhabit an island that is entirely open from the very beginning; if you stumble upon a grid panel with rules you don't yet understand, you are completely free to walk away, explore a different biome, and learn its visual language elsewhere. The game features no verbal or written tutorials—instead, the environment itself teaches you how to play.
By purchasing a The Witness digital key, you get access to a massive verbal-silent sandbox containing more than 500 puzzles. As you trace lines through maze-like panels, you’ll slowly realize that the island’s architecture, shadows, and sound design are directly tied to the solutions. It’s an intensely rewarding, philosophical journey that stays with you long after the credits roll. Check out our price comparison grid below to find the cheapest digital key for your platform of choice.
