The Wandering Village is a survival city-builder developed by Stray Fawn Studio and published by Stray Fawn Publishing.
Set in a mysterious post-apocalyptic world covered by toxic spores, humanity’s survivors seek refuge on the back of a colossal creature called Onbu. Players must build and manage a thriving settlement while balancing the needs of villagers and maintaining a healthy relationship with the giant beast carrying them across dangerous landscapes.
The game combines city-building, resource management, survival mechanics, farming, exploration, and strategic decision-making. Players gather resources, research technologies, construct buildings, manage food supplies, and protect their population from environmental hazards while traveling through changing biomes and unpredictable weather conditions.
One of the game’s defining mechanics is the bond between the village and Onbu. Players can choose whether to cooperate with, care for, or exploit the creature, with decisions directly affecting survival and gameplay outcomes.
