The Surge 2 is a hardcore, sci-fi "Soulslike" action RPG that evolves the limb-cutting mechanics of the original into a high-stakes tactical experience. On your way to Jericho City, your plane is downed by a mysterious nanite storm, leaving you to awaken weeks later in a city collapsing under martial law, rogue machines, and technological cults.
As a survivor, you must equip a powerful Exo-Rig and navigate a sprawling, interconnected metropolis. The game’s signature Targeted Limb Shedding system allows you to choose exactly which part of an enemy to attack—sever their armor to loot it, or target a weak point to finish the fight quickly.
