The Sims 4 Cottage Living is an Expansion Pack for The Sims 4, the life simulation game developed by Maxis and published by Electronic Arts. It was released on July 22, 2021 for PC, Mac, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.

The pack moves your Sims to Henford-on-Bagley, a countryside village with rolling fields, a local pub, and a close-knit community. Daily life slows down around tending the garden, gathering ingredients, and cooking meals from what you grow.

Farm animals are the main addition. Sims can raise cows, llamas, and chickens, care for them, and collect milk, wool, and eggs. Wild animals such as rabbits, birds, and foxes roam the area, and Sims can befriend them over time.

Cottage Living also adds the cross-stitch hobby, village fairs where Sims can enter their best produce and animals, and a Simple Living lot challenge for players who want a more self-sufficient household. Like the base game, it is a single-player experience.

It suits Sims players who enjoy relaxed storytelling, gardening, and building cozy country homes.
