SimPoints are the official virtual currency used exclusively in The Sims 3 Store. While expansion packs and stuff packs offer large batches of content, the Store allows for granular customization, offering hundreds of individual items and themed sets—from ultra-modern kitchen appliances to Renaissance-era fashion—that aren't available anywhere else.
Buying a 1000 SimPoints CD key is often more flexible than buying directly through the EA App, as digital codes can be found at discounted rates or given as gifts. Once redeemed, these points stay tied to your EA Account, allowing you to browse and "buy" items directly from the official Sims 3 Store website. These items are then downloaded through your game launcher and integrated seamlessly into your existing save files.
Exclusive Content: Access premium items like the MultiTab 6000, The Lucky Simoleon Casino, or the Baby Swing that provide unique gameplay interactions.
Expansion Worlds: Save up points to purchase massive new neighborhoods like Hidden Springs, Lunar Lakes, or the fan-favorite Roaring Heights.
Daily Deals & Sales: Use your points during "Daily Deals" on the Sims 3 Store website to snag high-value sets for a fraction of their original cost.
Full Customization: Choose exactly what you want—don't pay for a whole "Stuff Pack" if you only want one specific hairstyle or sofa.
Persistent Library: Once an item is purchased with SimPoints, it is added to your permanent "Purchase History," allowing you to redownload it even if you switch computers
