The Quarry is an interactive horror drama developed by Supermassive Games and published by 2K, released on June 9, 2022. It follows nine teenage counselors at Hackett's Quarry summer camp who stay one extra night to throw a party. Instead, they end up hunted by blood-drenched locals and something far worse in the woods. If you played the studio's earlier hit Until Dawn, the structure will feel familiar: you switch between characters, make dialogue and action choices, and live with the results.
Every decision, from opening a trap door to running from a scream in the forest, branches the story. Any counselor can survive the night or die before daylight, so replays lead to very different endings. Facial capture and filmic lighting bring a cast that includes David Arquette, Ariel Winter, Justice Smith, Brenda Song, Lance Henriksen and Ted Raimi to the screen. Adjustable difficulty for quick-time events and a Movie Mode let you tune how much you play versus watch.
Groups can play a couch co-op version where each person takes control of a counselor, and an online mode lets invited friends watch and vote on key choices. A cheap The Quarry CD key suits fans of slasher films and choice-driven narrative games who want a single-sitting horror night with friends.
