The Callisto Protocol is a spiritual successor to the Dead Space series, blending atmospheric tension with visceral, close-quarters gore. Jacob Lee's journey is one of survival and mystery as he navigates the decaying prison and the ancient secrets buried beneath the lunar surface. The game features a unique diegetic UI, where health and energy are displayed on a device on Jacob's neck, and a tactical combat system that forces players to balance strategic limb-dismemberment with a heavy emphasis on dodging and melee combos. In 2023, the story was officially concluded with the Final Transmission DLC, which provides the true ending to Jacob's harrowing struggle.
Brutal Melee & Ranged Combat: Master the "GRP" gravity weapon to pull and throw enemies into environmental hazards, and use the stun baton for a visceral melee system.
Horrors of Callisto: Face the Biophages, creatures that mutate in real-time, requiring you to shoot tentacles to prevent them from becoming even more powerful.
A Cinematic Cast: Features high-fidelity performances from Josh Duhamel (Jacob Lee) and Karen Fukuhara (Dani Nakamura).
Next-Gen Visuals: Powered by a heavily modified Unreal Engine 4, the game features ray-traced shadows and reflections on supported platforms.
Riot Mode: A wave-based survival mode that tests your combat skills against endless hordes of enemies in a high-score chase.
