The Banner Saga Trilogy is a bundle of The Banner Saga, The Banner Saga 2, and The Banner Saga 3, a series of tactical role-playing games developed by Stoic. The first game released in 2014, and the trilogy was completed when The Banner Saga 3 launched on July 26, 2018. The games are available on PC, macOS, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.

The story is set in a Norse-inspired world where the sun has stopped in the sky and the gods are dead. You lead a caravan of humans and giant varl across a dying land while the dredge, an armored enemy race, close in from the north.

Each game splits its time between turn-based tactical battles on a grid and travel scenes full of difficult choices. You manage supplies, morale, and renown, and the decisions you make decide who lives, who leaves, and how the journey ends.

Saves can be imported from one game to the next, so your choices carry across the full trilogy. The series is known for its hand-drawn animation and an orchestral score by Austin Wintory. All three games are single-player.

The Banner Saga Trilogy suits fans of tactical RPGs and choice-driven stories, and it is the simplest way for new players to experience the whole saga in order.
