Terminator: Dark Fate - Defiance is a real-time strategy game developed and published by Slitherine, released for Windows PC on February 21, 2024. It is set in the Terminator: Dark Fate universe, after Legion's synthetic intelligence has taken over, and it pits the last organized human forces against the machines and against rival groups of survivors.
In the single-player campaign you command the Founders, a force built from the remnants of the US military. Your army carries over from mission to mission across a series of large strategic maps, so every unit you save matters later. Vehicles use a modular component damage system, where armor, hull structure and malfunctions decide what survives, and physics-based building demolition changes how urban fights play out. Your choices shape which factions and characters join or oppose you and which missions open up.
Skirmish and online multiplayer let you play as all three factions: the Founders, the Movement and Legion. The game holds a Metacritic score of 72, and it suits players who like slower, tactical RTS games in the vein of wargames rather than fast build-and-rush matches. A Terminator: Dark Fate - Defiance CD key unlocks the full game on Steam. You can check the details on the official Steam store page.
