Tales of Vesperia: Definitive Edition is a Japanese role-playing game published by Bandai Namco Entertainment, with the remaster developed by Bandai Namco Studios and QLOC. It was released in January 2019 for PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch to mark the original game's 10th anniversary.

The story follows Yuri Lowell, a former Imperial Knight who leaves the capital to chase a thief and ends up on a much larger journey. Along the way he forms the guild Brave Vesperia with a group of companions, and the plot grows into a conflict over the blastia, the ancient devices that power the world of Terca Lumireis.

Battles play out in real time. You control one character directly, chaining attacks and special skills called artes, while the rest of the party follows AI tactics you can adjust. Overlimit and Fatal Strike systems reward well-timed aggression, and the skill system lets you learn abilities from equipped weapons.

The Definitive Edition adds content that Western players missed in the original Xbox 360 release, including Flynn Scifo and Patty Fleur as playable party members, extra story scenes, and remastered visuals. Battles also support local multiplayer, so friends can take control of other party members.

Tales of Vesperia suits players who enjoy classic anime-style JRPGs, a long character-driven story, and fast action combat instead of turn-based menus.
