Taiko no Tatsujin: Rhythm Festival is a rhythm game developed and published by Bandai Namco Entertainment.
Players join Don-chan and Kumo-kyun in Omiko City, where they aim to become Taiko Masters by completing rhythm challenges and musical performances. Gameplay revolves around hitting notes in time with the music using drum inputs that simulate the traditional Japanese taiko drum experience.
Rhythm Festival offers an extensive library of songs spanning J-Pop, anime themes, classical music, video game soundtracks, Vocaloid tracks, and original compositions. The game also introduces the Taiko Music Pass subscription service, granting access to an even larger catalog of songs beyond the base game.
In addition to the classic Taiko mode, players can enjoy party games, online battles, cooperative play, and various mini-games. With colorful visuals, accessible gameplay, and a wide range of music genres, Rhythm Festival is designed for both newcomers and long-time fans of the Taiko no Tatsujin series.
