Sword Art Online: Last Recollection is an action RPG developed by Aquria and published by Bandai Namco Entertainment. It released in October 2023 for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S, and it is billed as the culmination of the Sword Art Online game series.

Combat is fast and real-time, with MMO-style battles built around a party you form yourself. You use skills, coordinate with party allies and work together to bring down large enemies, while side quests called episode quests deepen your bonds with each companion.

The roster is the largest in any SAO game, with over 40 playable characters. You can also create a personal avatar, upload it so other players can add it to their party, and change outfits and weapon looks with Visualize Attire without affecting stats.

The story is based on the War of Underworld arc. Kirito and his friends face the forces of the Dark Territory and try to unmask the mysterious Dark Knight. You can play the campaign alone or join other players in online co-op battles.

The game suits Sword Art Online fans, players who enjoy anime action RPGs and anyone who likes building a party from a large cast of familiar characters.
