Street Fighter X Tekken is a high-octane 2D crossover fighter that pits iconic characters like Ryu and Ken against Tekken legends like Kazuya and Nina. Developed by Capcom, the game utilizes the beloved Street Fighter IV engine while integrating Tekken’s signature juggling mechanics and a flexible four-to-six-button control scheme.
The core of the game revolves around 2v2 Tag-Team combat. Unlike many tag fighters, if one character on a team loses all their health, the round ends—making health management and strategic switching crucial. With the Gem System, you can further customize your fighters with stat boosts like increased defense or automated block assistance, tailoring your team to your specific playstyle.
Dream Roster: 38 characters in the base game, plus additional DLC fighters and platform exclusives like Mega Man, Pac-Man, and Cole MacGrath (PS3/Vita).
Tag-Team Mayhem: Switch between two characters mid-combo using the Cross Rush and Cross Assault systems to overwhelm your opponent.
Gem System: Equip up to three Gems (Attack, Defense, Speed, etc.) to gain tactical advantages or assist with difficult inputs.
Pandora Mode: Sacrifice your partner when their health is low to enter a temporary, ultra-powerful state with an infinite Cross Gauge.
Flexible Controls: Play using the traditional 6-button Street Fighter layout or a simplified 4-button layout familiar to Tekken veterans.
Crossover Special Moves: Execute devastating Cross Arts where both teammates unleash their signature finishing moves simultaneously.
