Developed by the RPG veterans at Spiders (GreedFall) and published by Nacon, Steelrising plunges players into a dark, reimagined 1789 Paris. In this reality, the French Revolution has been violently suppressed and drowned in blood by King Louis XVI. The tyrant monarch controls a terrifying, merciless army of automated clockwork soldiers that patrol the burning, barricaded streets to slaughter any who resist.
Players assume control of Aegis, a mysterious, fluid automaton masterpiece originally built to dance for the royal court. Re-engineered to serve as Queen Marie-Antoinette's ultimate bodyguard, Aegis must navigate a shattered Paris alone to cut a path through the madness, locate her creator, and ignite the flames of the revolution. Blending atmospheric historical friction with the punishing tactical design of modern Soulslike games, purchasing a Steelrising CD key through Cdkeycompares lets you experience this gorgeous, brass-bound adventure on a budget.
Challenging Automaton Combat: Master a high-stakes, fast-paced combat system where mechanical precision is absolute. Chain together swift dodges, perfectly timed parries, aerial jumps, and devastating elemental infusions to break enemy poise and reduce your mechanical foes to scrap metal.
The Rapid Cooling System: Keep the gears turning. Pushing Aegis to her limits triggers an immediate overheating penalty, but a well-timed manual vent mechanic lets you rapidly dissipate internal temperatures to restore your stamina gauge at the risk of taking frost status damage.
Vertical & Fluid Exploration: Turn Paris into your personal playground. Use a built-in grappling hook and an air-dash maneuver to climb high rooftops, bypass heavily guarded barricades, unearth secret alleys, and approach combat scenarios from advantageous vantage points.
Tailored Playstyle Modular System: Customize your clockwork chassis. Equip over 40 distinct historical and futuristic weapons—including heavy iron hammers, swift iron fans, and dual elemental muskets—while slotting custom upgrade Modules to fine-tune your defensive and offensive parameters.
Cross Paths with History: Interact with a stellar cast of deeply woven, alternate-history political players. Forge fragile alliances, unravel complex political plots, and converse with historical icons like Marie-Antoinette, Maximilien Robespierre, and the Marquis de Lafayette.
