State of Decay 2: Juggernaut Edition is the definitive version of the game, featuring remastered graphics, new maps, and all previously released DLC integrated into a single experience.
Community Management: Every survivor is a unique individual with their own traits, skills, and personality. Manage their morale, resolve their conflicts, and keep them fed to maintain a functional society.
Open-World Exploration: Choose from five massive maps—including Providence Ridge and the remastered Trumbull Valley (Homecoming update)—to establish your headquarters and scavenge for vital supplies.
Permadeath: The stakes are permanent. If a survivor dies, they are gone forever. This adds a layer of intense tension to every supply run and infestation clearing.
Tactical Base Building: Customize your base with facilities like infirmaries, workshops, and gardens. Your choice of base location and upgrades dictates your community's long-term sustainability.
RPG Progression: Level up individual survivors to unlock powerful specializations in Cardio, Wits, Fighting, and Shooting.
4-Player Co-op: Invite up to three friends to visit your world and help you scavenge, build, and fight off the horde.
The Blood Plague: Battle "Plague Zombies" and destroy the "Plague Hearts" that have infested the map to cure the infection spreading through the land.
Daybreak & Heartland:
Daybreak: A fast-paced, "survive the horde" siege mode that rewards you with elite Red Talon gear.
Heartland: A narrative-driven story campaign set in the iconic town from the original game.
Bounty Broker: Complete specific challenges for the mysterious Bounty Broker to earn unique weapons and outfits.
Enhanced Engine: Features realistic fog effects, improved lighting, and a vastly expanded soundtrack compared to the original launch.
