Developed by Motive Studios and published by Electronic Arts, STAR WARS: Squadrons is an immersive pilot experience designed for fans of classic flight simulators. The game features a 14-mission narrative that alternates perspectives between the New Republic’s Vanguard Squadron and the Empire’s Titan Squadron. Unlike many modern shooters, Squadrons is played entirely from a first-person cockpit view, forcing players to rely on their ship’s instruments to manage power between engines, lasers, and shields. With full VR support on PC, it is widely considered one of the most immersive Star Wars experiences ever created.
Strategic 5v5 Dogfights: Plan your attack in the briefing room before heading into space for intense, objective-based team battles.
Iconic Starfighter Classes: Master eight different ships across four classes: Fighters (X-wing/TIE Fighter), Interceptors, Bombers, and Support craft.
Full Cockpit Immersion: Navigate exclusively from the pilot's seat, using diegetic UI elements and power management systems to survive.
Vast Customization: Unlock components like new engines, hulls, and weapons through gameplay to fine-tune your ship’s performance.
Virtual Reality Support: Play the entire game in VR on PC for a truly "inside-the-cockpit" feel that enhances spatial awareness and immersion.
