Splatoon 3 is a third-person team shooter developed and published by Nintendo. It was released on September 9, 2022 for Nintendo Switch and is the third main game in the Splatoon series.

Instead of scoring kills, the main goal is to cover the ground in your team's ink. In Turf War, two teams of four have three minutes to ink as much of the map as possible. You can swim through your own ink as a squid to move fast, refill ammo, and hide from opponents.

Ranked Anarchy Battles add objective modes such as Splat Zones, Tower Control, Rainmaker, and Clam Blitz. Weapons range from rollers and brushes to chargers and splatlings, and you can customize your look and gear abilities in the hub city of Splatsville.

Salmon Run Next Wave is a co-op mode where up to four players fight waves of Salmonids and collect golden eggs. A single-player story mode, Return of the Mammalians, takes you through a strange frozen world, and Tableturf Battle is a card game you can play in town. Splatfest events let players vote and battle for themed teams.

Splatoon 3 suits players who enjoy competitive online matches, co-op challenges, and bright, fast-paced action that is easy to learn.
