Spider-Man: Homecoming – Virtual Reality Experience is a promotional, first-person VR title developed by CreateVR (known for prior Sony Pictures VR projects like The Walk and Ghostbusters VR) and published by Sony Pictures Virtual Reality. Released for free on June 30, 2017, a week ahead of the theatrical debut of Spider-Man: Homecoming, the experience was designed as a marketing tie-in rather than a full commercial game, letting fans "suit up" as Peter Parker's Tom Holland incarnation and try out the character's new Stark-designed suit and gadgets.

Guided by the suit's onboard AI, Karen, players don the mask using motion controllers, then complete a short series of "field tests," including rapid-fire web shooters to smash bottles, web grenades, and sticky webs used to pull posters off walls, before a climactic confrontation with the villain Vulture and a sequence involving stopping a falling crane. The experience, often described by reviewers as brief (around five minutes) but polished and enjoyable, was made available across all major VR platforms of the time, including PlayStation VR, HTC Vive, and Oculus Rift, and was even set up as public demo booths in select Cinemark theatres in the United States and at the CineEurope trade show in Barcelona. Buyers or collectors looking into this title should note that as a free promotional release, it has since been retired from the Steam store, though it may still be found in archived form via other platform libraries.
