Space Haven is a spaceship colony simulation developed and published by Finnish studio Bugbyte. After entering Early Access in 2020, it left Early Access with its 1.0 release on May 13, 2026 for PC, macOS and Linux.

You lead a ragtag crew of civilians searching for a new home among the stars. Ships are built tile by tile, so you place every hull piece, wall, door and facility exactly where you want. A small shuttle can grow into a sprawling vessel or a stationary base.

Life support is fully simulated. You keep oxygen and carbon dioxide at safe levels, scrub hazardous gases, regulate temperature and route power across the ship. Crew members have needs, moods and relationships, and a noisy room next to their beds will cost them sleep.

Beyond the ship, you travel between sectors, mine asteroids, salvage derelict wrecks and meet other space-faring factions that can trade, talk or attack. Ship-to-ship combat and boarding battles add danger. The game is single-player and supports Steam Workshop mods, which add new content and tweaks created by the community.

It suits players who enjoy detailed colony sims in the style of RimWorld, base building and emergent crew stories. The retro pixel-art look keeps the screen readable even when a large ship is full of systems, and the low system requirements mean it runs on most computers.
