Shin Megami Tensei III Nocturne HD Remaster is a turn-based role-playing game developed by ATLUS and published by SEGA. It is a remaster of the PlayStation 2 classic and released in 2021 on PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch and PC.

The story begins on an ordinary day in Tokyo that ends with the Conception, an apocalypse that reshapes the city into a world of demons. You become the Demi-fiend, a half-human, half-demon figure caught between rival forces fighting to decide what kind of world will be reborn.

Battles use the Press Turn system, where hitting an enemy weakness or landing a critical hit grants extra actions, while missed or blocked attacks cost you turns. Enemies follow the same rules, so fights reward careful planning. You talk to demons to recruit them, then fuse them to create stronger allies with inherited skills.

The HD Remaster adds remastered 3D models and backgrounds, extra difficulty settings, a suspend save option and voiced audio in English or Japanese. Your choices toward different ideologies lead to multiple endings.

It is a single-player game with a reputation for challenge. It suits fans of Persona and Shin Megami Tensei V, and players who enjoy demanding turn-based combat and team building.
