Sherlock Holmes Chapter One is an open-world detective adventure developed and published by Frogwares, the Ukrainian studio behind the long-running Sherlock Holmes series. Released on November 15, 2021 for PC, with versions for PlayStation and Xbox consoles, it is an origin story. You play a cocky young Sherlock, years before Baker Street, who returns to the island where he grew up to uncover the truth about his mother's death.
The island is a 19th-century Mediterranean town where political corruption and crime run deep and locals distrust outsiders. You roam its districts freely, picking up clues from conversations, rumors, documents and crime scenes, then pin evidence and connect deductions in Sherlock's mind palace. Disguises open doors that stay closed to a well-dressed stranger, and confrontations can end with a gun or with a clever use of the environment. Your only companion is Jon, a mysterious friend who acts as your sounding board. Your conclusions are yours to make, and wrong deductions are possible.
The game suits fans of investigation-heavy mysteries who want room to think rather than a guided path. If you enjoyed Frogwares' earlier Sherlock Holmes: The Devil's Daughter, this is a larger, freer take on the formula. A Sherlock Holmes Chapter One CD key from a trusted seller is the cheapest way to open the case.
