Shelter 2 is a single-player wildlife adventure developed and published by Swedish studio Might and Delight. It released on March 9, 2015 for Windows PC, macOS, and Linux, and follows the studio's 2013 game Shelter.

You play a mother lynx. The core loop is simple: explore open landscapes, stalk and hunt prey, and feed your cubs so they grow strong enough to survive. Each cub can be lost to hunger or predators, which gives every hunt real weight.

The game moves through the seasons, and the cubs gradually learn to hunt alongside you. Over time, the young lynxes grow up, and the cycle can continue with a new generation.

The art style uses a painterly, hand-crafted look, and the pace is quiet and reflective rather than combat focused. A Mountains expansion is available separately.

The experience centers on watching, listening, and reading the landscape. Shelter 2 offers full controller support and Steam achievements, and the interface is available in several languages, including French, German, Spanish, Russian, Swedish, and Simplified Chinese. Hardware demands are low, so it runs on older desktops and many laptops. A playthrough is relatively short, which suits players who prefer a focused, atmospheric experience over a long campaign. It is one of several animal-focused games in the studio's Shelter series.

It suits players who enjoy atmospheric nature games, short emotional experiences, and exploration without complex systems.
