Scott Pilgrim EX is a side-scrolling beat 'em up developed and published by Tribute Games. It was released in March 2026 for Windows PC, Linux, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and Nintendo Switch 2.

The game tells a new story written by series creator Bryan Lee O'Malley. Toronto has been taken over by three rival gangs, the Vegans, the Robots, and the Demons, and when Scott's bandmates are abducted, he and his friends set out to find out who is behind it.

You choose from seven fighters: Scott Pilgrim, Ramona Flowers, Matthew Patel, Gideon Graves, Lucas Lee, Roxie Richter, and Robot-01. Each has a distinct combat style, and you string together combos, grab wacky weapons, and unleash special attacks. Badges unlock new abilities and stat bonuses.

Instead of a straight line of stages, Toronto is a city of interconnected levels with quests, hidden areas, and returning faces. Up to four players can team up in local or online co-op, and the game supports cross-platform multiplayer.

Scott Pilgrim EX suits fans of the comics, film, and earlier game, plus anyone who enjoys arcade-style brawlers best played with friends on the couch or online, whether new to the genre or experienced.
