The year is 1996 in Petria, a fictional country under an authoritarian regime, just weeks before a tense election. Teenagers are fleeing toward the border, and you play several of them in turn, each starting a new journey by hitching rides, walking, or taking buses across the country.

Every trip is built from a mix of handcrafted scenes, so no two playthroughs follow the same road. You meet a recurring cast, including a police officer, a TV host, a taxi driver, and a pair of robbers, and each meeting reveals more about their linked stories and secrets.

Choices matter throughout. Your answers, actions, and small decisions affect who survives, how characters see you, and how the election plays out. Gameplay mixes dialogue, light exploration, and short mini-games, all set to a soundtrack full of 90s-style tracks. The game is single-player.
