Risen 2: Dark Waters is a third-person action RPG from Piranha Bytes, the creators of the legendary Gothic series. Set several years after the events of the original Risen, the world is being torn apart by raging Titans, and monstrous creatures from the deep have brought all seafaring to a halt.
You take on the role of a nameless hero and member of the Inquisition, sent undercover to infiltrate a band of pirates. These outlaws are rumored to know the only way to stop the chaos from the sea. Swapping traditional high-fantasy for a gritty pirate-themed setting, the game features islands filled with jungles, caves, and tribal villages.
