Developed by Capcom using the proprietary RE Engine, Resident Evil 2 (2019) reimagines the 1998 classic with breathtaking photorealistic visuals and a modern third-person, over-the-shoulder perspective. The game returns to the roots of survival horror, emphasizing inventory management, atmospheric exploration, and pulse-pounding encounters with the undead. Navigate the iconic Raccoon City Police Department, solve intricate puzzles, and try to outrun the relentless, unkillable Tyrant (Mr. X). With two distinct campaigns and the return of fan-favorite modes like "The 4th Survivor" and "The Tofu Survivor," this is the definitive version of a horror legend.
Terrifyingly Realistic Visuals: Experience Raccoon City like never before with 4K resolution, HDR support, and a gore system that reacts dynamically to every bullet.
A Classic Reimagined: Modern controls and a new camera angle enhance the tension while staying faithful to the original’s story and atmosphere.
Two Heroes, Two Stories: Play through separate campaigns for Leon and Claire, each featuring unique weapons, side characters, and path-specific challenges.
The Inevitable Mr. X: Face a constant threat as the Tyrant stalks you through the halls of the RPD, reacting to the sounds of your footsteps and gunfire.
Free Post-Launch Content: Includes "The Ghost Survivors," a set of "what-if" scenarios featuring characters who didn't make it out of the original story.
