Primal Carnage is an online multiplayer action game developed by Lukewarm Media and published by Circle 5 Publishing.

Set on a remote island overrun by genetically resurrected dinosaurs, the game pits teams of human mercenaries against powerful prehistoric creatures. Players can choose between five unique human classes equipped with specialized weapons or five dinosaur species, each offering distinct abilities and playstyles.

Unlike traditional shooters, Primal Carnage features asymmetrical gameplay. Humans rely on teamwork, firearms, and gadgets to survive, while dinosaurs use speed, strength, stealth, and devastating melee attacks to hunt their prey.

The game includes multiple multiplayer modes, large maps, unlockable cosmetics, and class-based combat that encourages strategic coordination. It also serves as the predecessor to Primal Carnage: Extinction, which expands upon the original formula.
