Onimusha 2: Samurai’s Destiny Nintendo Switch is the portable version of Capcom’s remastered samurai action-adventure game. Players control Jubei Yagyu, a sword master seeking revenge after Nobunaga Oda and his Genma army destroy his village. The game combines fixed-camera exploration, intense swordplay, elemental weapons, environmental puzzles and supernatural abilities based on absorbing enemy souls. Jubei can also build relationships with companion characters, influencing some story routes and encounters. The Switch remaster improves the original 2002 release with HD graphics, widescreen presentation, modern controls, automatic saves, skippable cutscenes, weapon switching during combat and multiple aspect ratios. New features include Easy mode available from the beginning, one-hit Hell mode, an expanded gallery with more than 100 sketches, all 43 original soundtrack tracks and early access to several mini-games.
