Need for Speed: Rivals is an action racing game developed by Ghost Games in collaboration with Criterion Games and published by Electronic Arts.

Set in the open-world environment of Redview County, the game lets players choose between two rival careers: illegal street racers or high-speed police enforcers. Racers compete in dangerous events while avoiding capture, whereas police officers use advanced pursuit technology to stop racers and maintain order.

Need for Speed: Rivals introduces the AllDrive system, seamlessly blending single-player and multiplayer gameplay into one connected world where AI and real players coexist dynamically. The game features high-speed chases, exotic licensed vehicles, customization options, weather effects, and intense arcade-style racing action.

Built on the Frostbite engine, Rivals delivers cinematic visuals, destructible environments, and nonstop pursuit gameplay inspired by classic Need for Speed titles focused on cops-versus-racers competition.
