Developed by Pieces Interactive and published by Paradox Interactive, Magicka 2 is a brilliant, satirical action-adventure game that celebrates mechanical freedom and comedic wizarding accidents. Set in the wake of the devastating Wizard Wars, Midgård has been mostly cleared of robed spellcasters, driving the few remaining eccentric wizards completely insane. When a child carrying a powerful prophecy emerges, you and up to three fellow wizards must don colorful robes and travel across a beautifully ruined landscape to alter fate.
The core hook of the game is its completely fluid, hotkey-driven spellcasting matrix. There are no cooldown pools or mana limitations; instead, you manipulate eight distinct core elements on the fly to create thousands of spell combinations. You can cast your elemental creations as forward projectiles, area-of-effect bursts, weapon imbues, or personal defensive shields. Purchasing a Magicka 2 CD key through Cdkeycompares lets you experience this masterpiece of cooperative chaos without paying full digital retail prices.
The 8-Element Spell Engine: Dynamically chain together up to five elemental nodes simultaneously—including Water, Life, Shield, Cold, Lightning, Arcane, Earth, and Fire—to create wildly different spell interactions like steam clouds, ice walls, or beam arrays.
Unforgiving Friendly Fire Co-op: Team up with up to four players in full drop-in, drop-out local or online multiplayer. Because friendly fire is permanently activated, a misplaced lightning bolt or a stray fireball will constantly obliterate your teammates.
Game-Changing Artifact System: Customize your campaign runs or challenge arenas. Activate modular "Artifact" toggles to completely alter gameplay parameters, adjusting health bars, modifying elemental damage types, or overlaying a comedic sitcom laugh track.
Powerful Magicks: Discover hidden recipes to unleash screen-clearing ancient "Magicks." Revive dead companions instantly, call down massive meteor strikes, or summon a fast-moving thunderstorm to shock wet targets.
Endgame Challenge Arenas: Put your spell-weaving speed to the ultimate test in intense, wave-based survival maps. Adapt your builds on the fly to survive aggressive enemy variants and unlock custom vanity gear items.
