Little Kitty, Big City is a lighthearted open-world adventure developed and self-published by Seattle-based Double Dagger Studio. It released on May 9, 2024, on PC through Steam, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S. You play a small black cat whose peaceful nap ends with an unplanned trip into the city, and the main goal is to find your way back home. The game is happy to let that goal wait.
The city is a compact playground built for cat behavior. You climb, jump and squeeze into places people never look, knock objects off ledges, trip passers-by and steal snacks. A cast of talking animals, including crows, ducks and other strays, hands out quests and favors, and helping them opens up new routes. Shiny collectibles can be traded for a wide range of hats, and you can nap in sunny spots whenever you like. There is no combat and no timer, so the focus stays on exploration and small comic moments.
It suits fans of cozy games and anyone who enjoyed playing a cat in Stray but wants a brighter, sillier tone. The game is short enough to finish over a weekend, which makes a discounted Little Kitty, Big City CD key a good value pick.
