King's Bounty II is a sophisticated blend of tactical turn-based strategy and immersive role-playing. Developed by 1C Entertainment, the game expands the series' classic hex-based combat by adding a massive, non-linear world explored from a third-person perspective.
Players choose one of three main heroes, each with a unique background, and embark on a quest to save the realm from a mysterious blight. The game features a complex "Ideals" system (Order, Anarchy, Power, and Liberty) where your actions influence how the world reacts to you and which units will join your cause. With realistic 3D environments and cinematic storytelling, it is a significant evolution for the storied franchise.
Immersive Third-Person Exploration: For the first time in the series, explore the world of Nostria on foot, interacting with NPCs and uncovering secrets.
Tactical Hex-Based Combat: Engage in deep, turn-based battles where terrain height, line of sight, and unit positioning are vital for victory.
Non-Linear Storytelling: Your choices directly affect the narrative and determine which of the four Ideals your character aligns with.
Diverse Army Customization: Recruit and lead a wide array of units, from humans and elves to undead and mythical creatures.
Rich RPG Progression: Level up your hero, manage equipment, and develop a massive skill tree to suit your tactical playstyle.
