Developed by Warhorse Studios, Brushes with Death focuses on narrative depth and a brand-new customization mechanic. Henry encounters Master Voyta, a painter carrying a painted human skull, who is haunted by enigmatic memories. The DLC consists of 10 interconnected side quests that span both the Trosky and Kuttenberg regions. Beyond the story, the expansion introduces a comprehensive Shield Painting System, allowing players to express their own heraldry through a creative workshop. While the DLC maintains the series' grounded realism and dark humor, it leans heavily into themes of legacy, forgiveness, and the "price" of artistic immortality.
