King Arthur: Knight's Tale is a turn-based tactical RPG developed and published by NeocoreGames, released on Steam on April 26, 2022, and later on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. It retells Arthurian legend through a dark fantasy lens. You play as Sir Mordred, Arthur's nemesis. The two killed each other at Camlann, but the Lady of the Lake brings Mordred back to Avalon with one task: destroy Arthur, who has become an undying mad king twisting the island into a nightmare version of Britannia.
The game blends squad tactics with character-focused RPG systems. You assemble knights from six classes, Defender, Champion, Marksman, Vanguard, Arcanist and Sage, then lead them through missions full of monsters, undead and rival knights. Heroes level up, earn skill points and gear, but injuries, curses and diseases take time to heal, and heroes can die for good. Between missions you rebuild Camelot's facilities and make moral choices that shape your rule and your knights' loyalty.
A King Arthur: Knight's Tale CD key is a strong pick for fans of XCOM-style tactics who want deeper RPG progression and a grim story. It also suits players who enjoyed Neocore's earlier action RPGs like Van Helsing: Final Cut and Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitor - Martyr. The official King Arthur: Knight's Tale site has news and DLC information.
