Killing Floor: Incursion is a virtual reality first-person shooter developed and published by Tripwire Interactive. It released on PC on November 14, 2017, and later came to PlayStation 4 for PlayStation VR. A VR headset is required.

It is a multi-hour, story-driven adventure set in the Killing Floor universe. You travel through varied locations, from creepy farmhouses to the catacombs of Paris, to uncover who or what is behind the Zed menace.

Combat is built for motion controllers. You aim and reload weapons by hand, swing melee weapons and react to Zeds up close, which makes the familiar enemies feel far more intense than on a flat screen.

The campaign can be played solo or in online co-op, and a separate endless mode lets you hold out against waves of Zeds for as long as you can survive.

The game draws heavily on the Killing Floor series, with familiar Zed types such as Clots, Gorefasts and Scrakes, plus the gore and dark humor that fans expect. Weapons range from firearms to melee options, all handled with your motion controllers. Movement options in VR include teleport-style locomotion to reduce motion sickness, and the campaign is designed to take several hours to complete, with the endless mode adding replay value afterward.

It suits VR owners who enjoy horror shooters and fans of the series who want a different way to fight the Zeds.
