What is Killer Klowns from Outer Space: The Game?

Killer Klowns from Outer Space: The Game is an asymmetrical multiplayer horror game developed by IllFonic and Teravision Games and published by Balor Games. It launched on June 4, 2024, on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, with cross-platform multiplayer. The game adapts the 1988 cult comedy-horror film, where alien clowns land in the town of Crescent Cove to harvest its residents.

Each match pits three Killer Klowns against seven human citizens. As a Klown, you work with your team, use alien abilities and zany weapons such as popcorn guns, and wrap victims in cotton candy cocoons to harvest them. As a human, you search Crescent Cove for loot and weapons, avoid capture, rescue teammates and hunt for one of several escape routes. Dynamic objectives, PvPvE threats and hide-and-seek play lead to different match outcomes, and both sides have characters and cosmetics to customize.

A Killer Klowns from Outer Space: The Game CD key suits groups who enjoy party-style horror like IllFonic's earlier Friday the 13th: The Game or the genre staple Dead by Daylight. The game is online multiplayer only, so plan on a stable connection. Visit the official Steam page for current events and DLC.
