Headbangers: Rhythm Royale is a party battle royale game built around rhythm minigames. It was developed by Glee-Cheese Studio and published by Team17, and it launched on October 31, 2023 for PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.

Each match puts you and 29 other pigeons into a musical contest. Over four rounds, the field shrinks as players are knocked out in quick musical challenges, until one pigeon is crowned Master Headbanger. Rounds get harder as the match goes on.

The minigames test memory, rhythm, reflexes, and reaction time, and some even ask you to keep up with a rap. Simple controls keep things easy to learn, while power-ups let you mess with rival players at key moments. The launch version included 23 minigames.

Headbangers is an online multiplayer game with cross-platform play, so friends can join from different systems. Every match earns Crumbs, the in-game currency, which you spend on outfits, hats, glasses, voices, and taunts to customize your pigeon. Challenges and a battle pass add extra unlocks over time.

Headbangers: Rhythm Royale suits fans of party games such as Fall Guys, rhythm game players, and groups of friends looking for short, silly online matches. A steady internet connection is required.
