Haunted House Renovator is a first-person paranormal renovation simulator developed by Image Power S.A. and published by PlayWay S.A. It was released on PC through Steam on April 30, 2025, and later arrived on Xbox Series X|S.

You work as a ghost-hunting renovator who accepts jobs from eccentric owners. Each contract starts with scouting an old house or flat for signs of paranormal activity, preparing the right set of tools, and then dealing with whatever is haunting the place before the real repairs can begin.

Banishing spirits is the standout system. Some hauntings can be caught with a simple net, while others need magic circles and rituals. Regular hauntings can be solved in a nice way or a mean way, each with different rewards, and some entities can even be adopted. Wraiths add an investigation element, and a camera lets you photograph hauntings to learn how to handle them.

Once a house is safe, the renovation side takes over. You change wallpaper, paint walls, restore old furniture, and choose from a large selection of interior decorations to make the place look welcoming. The game is single-player, tells a story across different properties, and has four endings based on your choices.

Haunted House Renovator suits fans of house flipping and job simulators who want a lighter, spooky twist. The tone is atmospheric rather than frightening, so it works for players who usually avoid horror games.
