What is GWENT: Rogue Mage?

GWENT: Rogue Mage is a single-player expansion to GWENT: The Witcher Card Game, developed and published by CD PROJEKT RED and released on July 7, 2022. It blends roguelike structure, deckbuilding and strategy with GWENT's card battle rules. The story takes place hundreds of years before Geralt's time, after the Conjunction of the Spheres flooded the world with monsters.

You follow the young mage Alzur and his companion Lily as they try to create a living weapon to end the monster threat. Each run sends you across a map of battles, Places of Power and random encounters. Battles last only one round, and Alzur spends a new resource, energy, to cast spells from his growing Grimoire. After the first two experiments, Curses unlock as difficulty modifiers that change every run. A GWENT: Rogue Mage CD key adds this paid campaign to your Steam library, separate from the free-to-play competitive game.
