Great Houses of Calderia is a feudal grand strategy game developed by Resistance Games and published by Firesquid, released on Steam on May 2, 2024. Inspired by the Mediterranean Renaissance, it puts you in charge of a noble family in Calderia, a mythical province of the Empire. Your goal is to climb the ranks of nobility and take the throne from the power-hungry Viceroy.
The focus is on family management rather than a single ruler. You appoint relatives to key tasks and manage their time, and each character's traits and personality shift as events shape them. Titles are won through a mix of production, trade, bribery, diplomacy and intrigue, with marriages, peace talks and title distribution playing as major decision points. When diplomacy fails, battles play out in a real-time tactical unit system. You also define your House's traditions, values and goals, expand your fiefdom and vassalize rivals. A Great Houses of Calderia CD key fits players who enjoy dynasty-driven strategy with a smaller, story-focused scope. More information is on the official Firesquid game page.
